Last week, My brother and I, went for a bike ride to Portland Maine for a lobster dinner. We left NY on Tuesday and had a great dinner on Wednesday. Friday morning, I was working on my 1982 gs850gl in Montpelier,VT, when Steve intruduced himself and immediatly lended a hand. He pulled out his tool box and commenced an expidited evaluation of my gs. Thank you Steve, the bike ran great on my return trip to NY.

Thank you for the info. Looks like I have to get posting. I will show up soon. I will put up a before and after pic with a commentary. I have just ordered a bunch of parts, from vendors listed on the forum, for a tune up. Steve has graciously offered to come to my house and work on my gs850gl. I will post pics after and talk about the changes with my gs850glComment

2015 CAN AM RTS
Stuff I've done to my bike:dancing: 1100E front end with new Sonic springs, 1100E swing arm conversion with new Progressive shocks installed, 530 sprockets/chain conversion, new SS brake lines, new brake pads. New SS fasteners through out. Rebuilt carbs, new EBC clutch springs and horn installed. New paint. Motor runs strong.Comment
