I had a great GS sighting today.
Geneva on the Lake, Ohio. I took pictures but when I uploaded them they disappeared
    I saw an 80/81 et/ex, Metallic blue, and a maroon GS 1000G.
If I can ever find the photos I will post them.
    Was anyone in Geneva today?
I am going to have to print some of those GS Business cards and say hello. I kept an eye out for both owners buy never saw anyone.

My GS sighting for the day:

I had been at recycled64's place, putting the finishing touches on his '82 650G. Yesterday we did a quick-dip on the carbs (they have been working well, the dip was "just because") and installed new o-rings in them. Got them back on the bike and actually fired it up, but it was a bit late to do a full sync job and idle mixture tuning. I returned today to finish up the sync and tune, everything went well.

I decided to take the long way 'home'. Took VT 17 over the mountain to VT 100 to head north. As I went by the restaurant on the corner of the intersection, I saw some familiar round cam end caps in the parking lot. I turned around to find the owner and was pleased to meet Devart.

Had a brief chat, and we both continued on our respective ways.

        Howdy folks,
Saw this little guy parked in the Munical lot by the train station on my way to work this am and was wondering if it belonged to anyone here. Note the sweet tu250 parked next to it. Too bad there wasn`t enough room for me to sqeeze Suzi` between them. :O)

GS 750G (N? has kick start) spotted yesterday at 36th and Dyer Ave (right outside the Lincoln Tunnel) where I park my bike when I ride to work.

Then I passed by an 850G parked in the Lower East Side that night, just caught it out of the corner of my eye. Blue like mine, even has the blue side covers mine lost.

Either of these belong to anyone here? I haven't met anyone in the area with a GS yet except Tim

Very nice. That appears to be a 78 GS750E. I had a red one.

I saw a pre 1982 1000G or 850G at the intersection of TV highway and the Wilson River highway on Saturday afternoon. It looked like a solid old bike.

I had an identical model, son destroyed it permanently, couple years after I tried to do same, but a new frame and fork slider, etc, brought it back, used it relatively happily for a few more years.

Thanks. I knew the E model had the cast wheels, dual front discs and the stepped seat. Trev's looks very nice as well, though.

It absolutely does, I sure loved mine, even if it was a bit of a pooch, power-wise.

You'll never know what you'll see on Lazy Sun. Drive!

Saw this on the side of the road on the way to pick up a new to me lawnmower...I stopped on the way back to chat w/ the owner...or turned out to be a rep of the owner...a pretty neat custom..I didn't get a picture of the other side but there is just as much chrome (more, as the shaft housings are chromed too..! The owner appeantly owns his own plating shop..and the rep turned out to be a custom builder!..It was a nice chat and I think it could be had for 2500.00

                              saw this in local paper

Looks like a GS to me.
                              83?

Tight curve of an on-ramp, seems to be polished concrete. Have slipped there myslef.

Rider is from next town, "treated and released".

Would be glad to help if I could.
Have trailer, could help pickup bike from the tow lot.

(Did I just use beautiful and L model in a sentence? )

Anyhow, after I get checked out by a Doctor , here are the pic's...

Edit: Please don't tell Tom that I called one of these beautiful or I may get kicked out of the L-hater club.
