Thanks for the reply's.
Yes its a NZ model.
$1500 here would get you something that's a heap.
Was a runner two years ago and has been parked up since in a shed.
Tyres are new and it will come with side covers.
BUT its not a runner at the moment, seller say it was running fine when parked. Battery is rooted and needs replacement.
And its not mint.
They don't come up for sale very often here.Last edited by Arronduke; 07-25-2013, 01:40 PM.Current Bikes.... 81,1230Kat, 86,GSXR1100, 86,RG500, :D

Not a fair question! To help decide whether to go for the bike or keep your wife, we would also need a picture of your wife!!..lol

Buy the bike .
If your missus wants you to choose , pick something you like and that you'll have fun with .
You'll be able to fix anything that's wrong with the bike , not so easy with a Grogan .
It's probably no help but , I paid about that much for a '79 GS1000S that was a real pig , got it rideable , then threw buckets of money at it . Now I've got a beautiful old bike that makes me grin when I see it just sitting in the shed . Rounding up some wanker on a new rocket ship is nearly as good as sex .
You'll be able to find all the bits you need fairly easily and there's all the expertise in the world right here .
Good luck old mate , oh , and welcome back , by the way .
Cheers , Simon .Last edited by simon kuether; 08-02-2013, 06:04 PM.http://i258.photobucket.com/albums/h...esMapSimon.jpg

If I could fix a woman as easily and fast as I can fix a bike....I would have both. But alas I will settle for my 7 bikes.
Now, if I find a woman with her own bike and also a fine WRENCH ( no I didn't say WENCH ) then she has my attention!!!MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550
NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
