cycle world rolling concourse at IMS moto gp

Spent the day Saturday with a good friend participating in the cycle world rolling concourse at the Indianapolis motor speedway. It was an amazing day at a historic location on my 78 gs550, that I call "old reliable" (because she's not pretty but she'll get ya their)..... lol
This photo is at the Pagoda (back side of start/finnish line)....

Use photobucket or similar to convert them to a reasonable size.

Man, what a day that looks like. Crazy amount of old Japanese bikes, fantastic, thanks for sharing.

                    Part bin special!

The '65 350' you mention is an interesting blend of a '66-'67 X6 basic chassis, tank, etc, with a '73 T350 engine and an undetermined disc-brake front end, Yamaha maybe, can't be a T350 front end graft-on, they never came with disc front. Could be a '77 GT250 front, those came with a disc.

Also, I would guess about 90% on here would know about the RE-5 Rotary. almost did Suzuki in!

Thanks for the great pics, barn.
Seems like a bit of everything at that show. Not just Japanese.

I have always liked the spoke pattern on the Heritage special. Your bike looks terrific!
How did your dad not spend the entire time with the front wheel in the air with that massive top box. lol.

You're using the wrong Link code

See that Link box next to your photo?

Go down to the IMG code, click on the code, it will say Copied

                          Then paste it here
