Wow, I really like riding motorcycle :)

Guess I had forgotten how much I like to ride motorcycles. My bike was put away for the winter on October 6 last year. Got it out for the first time since then today. Its been a long seven months. Man, I really like riding motorcycles!!!

Oh yeah. After an entire long winter of looking at three nice bikes while I back my car out of the garage, into bitter cold & snow, it's easy to forget how satisfying it is to ride these things.

A corollary is the first cleanup after a bike has been sitting getting dull & dusty. Wow, now I remember what a sharp looking machine that thing is!

Yeah, I was shocked when I lifted the cover this spring and saw the surface rust on the exhaust! It looks better now.

I made the mistake of putting my bike on an open trailer and taking it to the bike show in January. Had to clean it off there with all the road spray, then trailered it back home in a snowstorm. It was too cold to clean it up again. Next winter I'll spray WD40 on all the chrome, which should protect it for winter.

I keep forgetting living down here in Florida that only now some folks will be getting their bikes out. Too bad to have to miss out on that at all. I guess I just taking living in a state with year round riding for granted.

But it's nice to be able to ride all year!
