I come from the group that waves to everybody. "Doesn't matter what you ride, so long as you ride." I'll even wave to antique hot rods... I like those too.

I'm riding the perfect bike for getting waves from almost everybody. It's a sportbike so it gets all the race-repli crowd, it's old enough and pristine enough to get respect from any of the harley crowd and the rest of the riders on the UJMs are of the good natured will wave at everything types. Heck, I even get Harley riders pulling up at coffee stops and talking to me. It's great.

I like Harleys, but not enough to pay the big cash for one. My fav' is probably the 1200 sporty. I'd want a solo seat and bare as they come. (ie: no windshield)
