    I've Been Here Before...

    Wow!

I've had that feeling of potentially flying through the air...fortunately for me, it didn't go that way. For you, it must have been something you knew you couldn't do anything but let it happen. Almost like accepting that something was about to happen (because you had enough time to think about it) and not interfering with the bike's forward motion.

Sorry if that doesn't make sense but what happened to me didn't make any sense. Whatever the case may be for you, I hope you heal well and not let this affect how you feel about riding. I don't know you well enough to say either way but I was compelled to reply since this is something that affected me but not like it's done to you. No disrespect...just putting a spin on a situation I feel close to my heart.

Take care and keep on riding.

                Hi folks,,,,

Let me start by apologizing for not responding sooner to all your wonderful well wishes...I just haven't had much of a desire to talk or communicate with anyone! The infection in the back and having to reopen it bummed me out big-time ...........

If the truth is to be told I am having an almost impossible time dealing with the pain, injurious and complete lack of independence.
Feels like I got thrown into a hole and can't even get one toehold to start climbing out(can't seem to grab on anything positive.)

Thanks again for all of your thoughts.!

                P.S. Sorry If I babbled a bit.

Constant Pain is tough to deal with. A lot to endure. Hard to wait for improvement.

But do look for any improvement.

I can identify with your situation. I went through nearly 5 years with some of the most intense pain one should never endure and the lack of independence and no riding. I was depressed and gloomy everyday. What kept my hopes up? My bike was in storage just a door way from me. Kept telling myself, I'll be riding again soon. Once I had my surgeries, 90% of the pain went away, got my independence back and I'm riding like no tomorrow (or I try too lol). Hang in there, it could have been much worse.

Going through the experience you're going through is important to note...put your feelings about it here like folks have suggested. All inputs are great feedback even if there's no response. I've been very fortunate NOT having to deal with such realities but can empathize.

I hope you have all the support you need within your immediate family...I'm sure you do.

These machines we ride are a thing of wonder...outcomes are different for everyone. For now, I wish you positive thoughts on a successful recovery.
