This made me furious. They held up traffic for a long time and were still at it many miles later when I exited the highway. None of the sport bikes had license plates. The two Harleys did (they seemed to be riding sweep and making sure no one broke through the line), and I wish I'd written them down, but I was busy paying attention to the sport bike guys doing wheelies, side by side, around turns, with girls riding pillion, trying to make sure I had an out in case anything went sideways. All had helmets, but otherwise just street clothes. Thank God none of them went down or any of the million other things that could have gone wrong to injure themselves, their riders, or anyone else. But holy cow...how completely unnecessary.
I had visions of that YouTube video of the situation that occurred in NY (I think that is where it happened...where the guy in the cage ran over the bike then the other bikes chased him down, drug him out of the car, and beat him in front of his wife and kid). But mostly I just keep seeing the possibility of a wheelie gone wrong and the horrible carnage that could happen as the miles of traffic behind me piled into the scene. Thank God that didn't happen.
Man was I mad. Took me a long time to cool off, and now I'm getting all hot about it again just typing this. If I was mad I'm sure all the other cagers were ****ed off too. Seems like all the cagers hate us anyway and are out to get us. This just makes it worse. Of course they'll see me out on the road and think I'm one of them. What a bunch of a$$hats.
