    Meet Black Betty (bam-a-lam)

Well it has a GS in the name...................

Naked bikes have appealed to me for quite a while, and as I particularly like the big GSX1400 Zook's I have kept a weather eye out for one at the 'right price'

    Well I found one, a tidy black 2005 GSX1400

Wednesday morning up at 3am, flew to Melbourne, bused and tramed to Mate's place and was then taken to his workshop to view the bike, which had been delivered there by the seller a few days before.

The bike that is keeping it company is a very sweet Ducati.

    A couple of 'mood shots'

Then it was kit up and set off home for the 700 plus kilometer ride home.

A big bike in front of a big Koala

I can report that the thing is a Locomotive. So much torque that shifting gears is almost superfluous. The Yoshi pipe has that menacing growl which suits the bike to a tee. And I love it.

    Cheers, SB

That koala looks scary. You sure it isn't a drop bear?

The bike looks to be more of a beast than the koala. Nice ride.

Did the damn thing go wild? The koala reminds me of Hypnotoad from Futurama.

Some have said those things can be VERY dangerous.

That bike is pure beauty. Wish Suzuki brought it here. All we got was the hideous B-King.
