My 81 has about 43,000 on it. No major engine work, but a lot of other misc. work on electrical, body and brakes, ect.
The 83 has a little over 16,000 on it. Looks and rides fantastic. I'm going through the head this winter just to be safe and in anticipation of next summers ride to the convention. Could be a 3000 mile trip!Currently bikeless

I ride, therefore I am.... constantly buying new tires.

2370 miles on my 82 GS1100G -- no, really! Sat in the original owner's garage for 20 years. I've put 70 miles on it so far. Now rebuilding the carbs (wheee, gas leaks).

38,500 before I tore it down for rebuild.
I wasn't nice to it but the main reason
was a twisted crank.

'83 GS550E I bought it with 17K on the dial and now it's a little under 21K in the 4 months that I've owned it.

82 GS 750 has 24,000 miles on it and spins and shifts like it's brand new. If only the carbs weren't weird.
