Well I did it! I got back on a bike....well over the last two days I got all 5 of my bikes out. But only for short rides...I was fairly sore afterwards. But it felt good nonetheless. I won't be riding much for a while.

Although I'm sure all were difficult, which was the easiest on your body to ride?

Do take it slow and easy though

The new gsx1000 was easy because of it's lightness....but riding position was my 80 750....pegs are a little lower and don't require me to bend my legs as much....but they are all pretty comfy bikes...and thanks, I will take it easy for sure!

Good for you Trevor. I'm sure it felt amazing to be able to just get back on a bike. Lots more healing to do so take it easy and be patient. Waiting for better weather will be better for the recovery process.

Awesome man!!! So glad your getting better! Also so glad the crash didn't deter your from riding, I know folks that would never get on a bike again after a crash like that...

Also... Your K bike grows on me more and more every year. I definitely would pick it out of all your bikes. So sick.

                            Have a great day!

                              Hi all

Little update on my recovery. It's been 5 months now and xrays show that the bone in my hip is not healing. Long story short I will be getting a full hip replacement. I am relieved to be moving forward with this...5 months and I still need a cane/crutch.
Hopefully I will get it soon.

Well sh!t man, I'm sorry to hear that. I've been following your progress, quietly rooting for you from the sidelines. I suppose, as you said, at least things are moving in a forward trajectory. Any idea if COVID will delay a surgery like that?
