RIP George Bourroughs (the Koolaid Kid)
It is with sadness I heard tonight that George (the Koolaid Kid) has passed. I met George on a few group rides as well as in Indianapolis when I went to pick up my GSX1100G. Good guy. RIP George.Last edited by marvinsc; 01-03-2016, 12:02 AM.Tags: None

Oh wow. My condolences to his family. I never had a chance to meet him but he helped me out a few times; he was a great guy!Cowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace

Very sad. Rode with George a few times over the past several years. Good man, with a good sense of humor. My thoughts are with his family.Bob T. ~~ Play the GSR weekly photo game: Pic of Week Game

Very sorry to hear this. Hopefully one of the Indiana boys will chime in with the scoop but he sold his bike a while back because of medical reasons. So sad. He sent me a free care package full of Kawasaki valve shims that I'll be using for years to come so his spirit lives on in my bike!Ed

I'll miss him. I rode with him several times and even split a room with him back when Adam was running the ESE rally out of Robbinsville, NC. He was the architect of a secret "get well soon" project when Brian Wringer busted his leg several years ago. He was a good representative of the spirit of the GSR.
