Is what you implied true? Krash is not the luckiest of screen names, but did he in fact die on (or flying off of) his bike?
If so, rest in peace fellow 11ez rider.
PS My '73 Kaw Z1 was a widowmaker. My cousin's best friend died flying off it. The bike suffered a broken turn signal and a few scratches.Last edited by Rob S.; 02-22-2019, 04:51 PM.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

Well any how we organized delivery ala daisychain and I rode the first leg from Easton PA to Jamestown NY. Then John from Ohio put it in his truck and took it from there. forgot what happened after that....been a hot minute since this went downSkipsBreakdown2.jpg is skip among st the breathing? I still have a PM from Billy Ricks, dated August 26, 2006, about the raffle (he was the organizer).
"Wrench" won the raffle. He gave the bike to Michael Howard, and there was a GSR group effort to get the bike from southeastern PA to central KY. The raffle tickets were $5 each, and over $2,000 was raised with fewer than 100 participants.
There was some ugliness later about the final disposition of the bike, which I won't go into.GS450E GS650E GS700ES GS1000E GS1000G GS1100G GS1100E
