Middle of know where small mom and pop gas station where things got interesting....
My buddy on the brand new Moto Guzzi ....I noticed his rear tire was soaking wet and I could smell the gear oil....final drive leak....we added more oil...but it was leaking pretty good....after trying some shops on the phone we found out that there was a Penske rental place only 20 min away....lucky! So Cornell rode his bike there...slowly while two buddies followed...they got a truck and loaded it in the back and Cornell met us in John Day...actually he got there before us....this could have been far worse.
Cornell's new ride out on the street...lol....he decided to come with us the next day as well then drive to Port Angeles to drop off the truck and limp his bike on to the ferry back to Victoria...and it all worked out...
Stayed at the John Day Motel...stayed there before and it's great...wash buckets in front of our rooms and a fire pit.
