Day 10
Vegas to Vermillion Cliffs Az
Love this old motel in the middle of nowhere...stayed there last year as well...a saloon where the owner told us stories of John D. Lee....awesome that was....great story teller. He had told his story last year to us and I got him to tell it again.
This is right across from our motel...we rode our bikes through deep sand to get there....one buddy went down on his BMW GS....I had no issues on my VFR....lol

Day 11
Vermillion Cliffs (Marble Canyon) to Moab Ut
Wanted to show this pic from the night before
The next morning we got up at 5am....by accident...lol....time zone issues
But got to see this amazing sunrise!
We had breakfast in Marble Canyon and this is a bridge over the Colorado River
You could literally pull over to take pictures every 30 minutes....unbelievable.
I had heard about this must see place....a 1 mile walk that was well worth it
Horseshoe Bend
And of course you gotta stop here....Forest Gump Hill

Moab!
I got us rooms at the Expedition Hotel.....it's not cheap to stay in Moab.....rooms ran us $225us split two ways
But having a pool and hot tub made it well worth it...plus this was a two day stop, taking the next day off to do a loop/tour.
I have been lucky to stay in Moab 4 times now. If you have never been....go!
Bloody Canadians always taking over!! Lol
Turned our room into a bar....White Russians and Hockey playoffs!

Great pics from out west!
I wonder why nobody's thought to film a movie out there? You could call it a Western. I'll have to look into that...
One pic looks like you were in my town. Except we keep our Lady Liberty on the water.
Keep the pics & captions coming! Thanks, from those of us stuck on the couch.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red
