    colorado

Few friends and I want to ride into colorado just enough to check out rockies and camp a few days and head back east, probably through kansas.Anybody know of any good camp site's or advice. This is just in beginning stage,Four of us ready to go, but might have couple more.We usually go somewhere around arkansas missouri line and last year seen a lot of bear warnings, guess they are starting to get more of them, two of the guys never been to rockies and I haven't for a long time, just remember some scenic byways. Will be looking on net also,If it was just one of my riding buddy's and I we would just wing it.

Some of the most scenic places to see are highway 550 Durango to Silverton, highway 34 through Rocky Mountain National Park, highway 82 Independence Pass from Twin Lakes to Aspen. There are lots of other great routes too, like the Peak to Peak from Estes Park south, and Squaw Pass near Evergreen. You really can't go too wrong, except for I-70. Have fun. Ray

What Ray said. Stay off the interstates and you'll have some fantastic views. Give a shout if you want to come down by Pikes Peak and I'll join up with you.

Yeah, but if you blink, you missed it.
