    Twtex Pie Master (the guy that plans each month ride) is a guy that used to be very active here on GSR years ago.
    If you see him (Leon, focus frenzy) on sv1000, ask him about his gs1000. If he seems surprised, you can mention my name.

      I lived in the McAllen area for about 12 years up until '04. Between the snowbirds and people from across riding their will keep you on your toes. I used to ride along the Arroyo out of Rio Hondo to get a taste of a few curves.

        We used to do a semi-annual hill country ride. A few of the rides had as many as 30 or so riders, mostly GSR members. I'd ride up from the valley then put in a few hundred miles in the hill country. Riding the Sisters is a must do.
