Austin Moto Fest, April 13... Be There!

Howdy all, forum member whereiwannabe and I are producing and launching the inaugural Austin Moto Fest, Saturday April 13, one week before MotoGP hits COTA. Will be a mighty dang fine event for all moto-lovin' folks, and hope a bunch of fellow GSRers can make it to the festivities!

Send me a PM if you're traveling in —either for AMF or MGP— so we can be sure to meet up.

    Past rides: '79 GS1000SN, '84 GPZ900R

You're killing me, Frank! The 13th is (was?) the first day of a two-wheeled trip to KS, MO, and AR. I need to sort this one out...maybe I could leave a day later.

You, out of all people, HAVE to be at the first annual NOT Rally, Frank.

I may ride down to check it out also.

I wish I knew somebody from dallas that was taking a car down so I could send spare parts for the swap meet.

            What does N.O.T. rally mean?

Hope you can make it down, Gregory. Actually looking forward to the auto jumble myself; still hunting for those elusive S exhausts!

More like 6 months in the making. He was talking about it in October at Lukenbach ( The Harvest Classic ).

Good guesses; 2 years since we've formed LLC, 10 months analysis, 4 months production ramp-up, 2 weeks til festival launch...

Then, MotoGP races at COTA following week. And, a relaxing beer or two.

Is there a designated area to unload/load motorcycles? What's the parking set up like?

Good question Ace. I woke up pondering about what to do with my jacket and helmet once on-site.

Greg...we will take our gear to the green room...just follow me.

Prking and bike unloading...Large parking area to the west of the buildings and there is curbside along 5th. No problem for loading or unloading your bike Franjk.

Sounds good, Chuck. I was considering the length of my truck, the ramps, and the space needed to roll the bike back.

I hope that the new fork boots get here in time. A few days ago, I discovered that one of them cracked all the way around. I guess that's expected of a 40+ year old bike.
