    Hey, Yogi!

Just got my 2015 vacation spot booked. It has to be done a year in advance. This is where I intended to be this year, but vision problems got in the way.

This is Yellowstone National Park's Great Lodge, the Old Faithful Inn. I have six consecutive days at the 'old house' -- the original portion of the lodge. It's just an amazing place, and I've wanted to visit there for ages. There was a National Geographic special on these lodges, and this is the granddaddy of 'em all.

It's still undecided whether I'll take a bike, a car or a commercial jet. As much as I enjoy motorcycles, they don't do 400 miles an hour, and they lack that refreshment cart... besides, it'd burn up two days each direction to ride there. There's time to ponder that decision, as long as I have my reservation in & verified & paid for!

(Although, I can kinda picture a Goldwing out front. See it?)

Take the bike!... I did Yellowstone twice last year (second one during the height of the season wasn't all that much fun) but GREAT time the first trip.

Was there almost exactly 30 years ago, leg in a cast. Don't ask.

Yeah, take the bike and then you can do Beartooth Pass on the way. Often the trip to and from is as nice or better than the destination.
