Brown County Indiana roads
We took a trip over to Nashville Indiana yesterday. We took some of the usual roads to get there. 250 had a few detours on it , so we head up to 50 to catch 135 through Story... They have now chip sealed 135 from 50 all the way to Freetown. Then after Freetown they are replacing pipes going across the road and filling the holes with gravel. Needless to say the road sucks. On top of that there was flood debris all over the place. Not a good weekend to be on the bike..I didnt do it I swear !!

Just say the word, Scott... we'll show you a good time on KLRs, promise.
Tim and I were in the area on KLRs on Saturday as well. The loose chip-and-seal on 135 should be in pretty good shape in about three weeks. Still a bit of a nasty surprise.1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.

Scott, there might be something in the works. Stay tuned..............
Brian has been doing the GPS tracks on our rides and also getting some tracks from the ADV site. On last Saturdays run the White river flooding completely made "Bump Ass Pass" impassable and my best guess the road is 3' under water. We attempted to get there but the water was past the bridge on the Tunnelton side and I or Brian had never seen it that far up the road before. We went down a road to the east of Tunnelton that went south and it was open under the railroad bridge and on the ridge but impassable once you went a mile or so west and to the east it was really flooded.
A couple weeks back we found some tasty bits northeast of Salem and last Saturday found some decent gravel west and north of the Tulip bridge. There were even a couple small stretches of semi "knarly" with ruts and washouts. Nothing like the Smokies but not bad for southern Indiana. Lots of "new to me roads" and the best thing is we don't slow down for "nuttin".82 GS850L - The Original http://s224.photobucket.com/albums/d...ePics067-1.jpg
