I'll be a in central missouri right in line for totality, the small town I'll be in is really getting geared up for it. they are saying they expect anywhere from 20,000 to 50,000 people show up in this little county and are saying traffic will be unreal ! its getting e-clipse crazy there!

New tires are in, going on my 4th rear on the Street-Rod for the season, It may not be 100% kicked by next Friday but it definitely won't get me down and back!

Dunlop Road Smart 3's. Apparently they last longer the Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT's. We will see...

The original front is just about kicked and I SHOULD replace it now but I want to do both at the same time. My tires should be going bald in about 1000 miles, so next week just before my trip .

As of now Friday is up in the air. Unsure if I'm going to be able to take the day off yet or not. If not I head around 11AM after getting my paperwork/work done and plan to keep my nose to the grind and get to Youngstown as the sun sets. IF I can manage to get the whole day off then I'm planning to stop and meet up with a couple of NE GSR members(eli69, ALB80-850).

Storm we could grab a beer or later diner! I'll throw you a PM for I'm definitely overnighting down the road from you.

Sounds good, there's a Wing joint (and regular menu) just around the corner from your hotel. It will be convenient for you. 👍

i'll probably stay in illinois for a night after the eclipse so i don't think i'll be able to catch up for the return trip. but i do hope ya can spare a couple minutes to stop by here on your way through western NY. get off at rt. 19 s (leroy) to warsaw and w. on 20a to my place. then you can skip a bunch of the thruway (90) and save a little on tolls. or skip the tolls by going out thru the employees entrance at one of the rest areas. i've heard of people doing that.....

So Likely not getting the day off tomorrow... So I will be blasting straight out to Ohio after work. (Sorry Lyle and Andy)
Putting the tires on tonight and packing. I just reupholstered my seat, now it feels like an old GS seat, little stiff but much better...
                Little nervous but excited!

Yeah my punk kid is getting married today. It's looking to be quite a show. Andy stopped in last night and toured the event area. the woods will be lit up tonight. These kids know how to throw a party. hoping for less cops than last time.

I found Andys exhaust pipe down the road this morning. I love that 1150.

Jedz didn't have time to stop last night I guess. We had one for you as you rode through western new York buddy.

Jedz made it to Youngstown, but not without a little drama of almost running out of gas! We didn't meet up, he didn't pull into town till about midnight. I'm sure he was pretty tired after a long day of work and riding. I made sure he was okay and not stranded on the side of the road before I went to bed. He'll have a nice day of riding today, the weather is beautiful.

Haha It was a rough day Friday. Got SOAKED the first 100 miles. Cleared out on 90 near Syracuse.

Storm Thanks so much for getting me in the right direction... It was a bit of a F'd situation. Route 11 really cuts through the middle of nowhere! Made it through! Thanks again, I owe you some brews!

I so wanted to see you guys Lyle. Sorry I was so short on time.

Made it TN 1100 successful miles racked! Roll in and had to swap a tire on my brother's Road Glide.

                          Haha good ride, great day!
