Yep, I say we make this thing a thing!

The usual plan; arrive at the hotel (now a "Surestay Plus by Best Western" whatever that means) Thursday September 15, checkout Sunday September 18.

    Plenty of trailer parking...

    I'm booked.
    1983 GS850G, Cosmos Blue.
    2005 KLR685, Aztec Pink - Turd II.3, the ReReReTurdening
2015 Yamaha FJ-09, Magma Red Power Corrupts...
    Eat more venison.

Please provide details. The GSR Hive Mind is nearly omniscient, but not yet clairvoyant.

    Celeriter equita, converteque saepe.

Yes, this event has taken on the feel of a trailer party.

I've told you the story about this guy that "trailered" his BMW the the Sturgis rally. When he got there, a full tank of gasoline leaked out into the trailer... I told him BMW's don't like being in trailers!

So then how about jumping on that Z900RS and riding out to Farmington? We would all like to take turns riding that bad boy.

I would like to attend this for the first time, especially since I missed BC this year. If I do, I'll probably be one of the trailer dudes. 6.5 hours to get there and back home might just prove too much for my arthritic thumbs.
            Current Bikes:
2001 Yamaha FZ1 (bought same one back)

Looking into scheduling to try and make it to this. Will be trailering out shamelessly if I do. Might even have a bit of a dilemma of WHICH GS to take as my 650G and 1100G seem to be coming along nicely.
              Previous GS fleet: '78 1000C, '79 750E, '81 650G, '82 1100G, '81 1100E
              Other rides: '77 XS500C, '78 XS1100E

Don't be ashamed of trailering out. Have you never ridden across Illinois? BORING!!!!
Besides, this event has taken on the trailer theme recently.

Hope you can make it, always nice to meet face to face with new members.

So, is thing still happening? I'm thinking I might be able to make it. I'll check with the hotel and see if they still have rooms available.

Of course it's still gonna happen! Those sweet Missouri sweepers aren't gonna ride themselves!

When I die, just cremate me and put me in my GS tank. That way I can go through these carbs, one more time!https://www.thegsresources.com/_forum/core/images/smilies/cool.png

                      Hells yeah!

At least, if I count as "happening", it's happening.

It'll be lovely to see you there, Greg.

I believe Mrs. Wringer, Marge, will be in attendance as well. We'll be trailering out and arriving on Wednesday in order to spend a little extra quality time together. As far as I can tell, she's not interested in riding.

And what would a rally in Missouri be without a "hillbilly whisperer"?

Sorry, won't make it. Wife will be on her annual Myrtle Beach all girls trip, and our old dog is very near her end. Can't leave her with anyone right now.

Vacation time and hotel room booked. Looking forward to it. I think Robin Dean is going to ride in with me...assuming I can keep up with him.

Looking forward to more adventures in the Ozarks

                                Great news, Greg!

It'll be magical to see all of you, but it's been an age or more since I've gotten the full "in the flesh" Robin Dean® patented skin-to-skin experience.
