2024 New England Rally - Mark your calendars

Once again, we have successfully reserved the group camping site and pavilion at Coolidge State Park, VT for the 2024 NE Rally, Sep 5, 6, 7 and 8, 2024 (which is the weekend after Labor Day, Sep 2). Camping is $10/night per person as it has been for the past 10+ years.

The park is very nice, with bathroom facilities within steps of the large pavilion. Hot showers are on site just a 1 minute ride to the lean-to section of the park. There's always a large warm fire burning all weekend, and plenty of food and drink. There is a combination gas station / country store about 5 minutes down the road that has fresh made sandwiches to order, as well as wine, beer, soda, ice, and hot coffee. It is a bit pricey but it's very convenient. There is a liquor store about a 15 minute ride for any hard alcohol needs.

Mark you calendar, ask some friends to join you - the riding in VT is amazing!

I ride, therefore I am.... constantly buying new tires.

My wife took an extended trip to Ireland. I had to use a ton of vacation time to take care of the animals because it was crazy money to board two of them for 2 weeks. I don't know if they're going to give me any extra time off because I've used all of mine. I'm going to try to make an argument that it's give me the time off or I leave permanently and retire. I really don't want to do that, I'm not there yet

Eff it skip. Retire. I'm sure there's some part time thing you could do. Get on your bad motorcycle and ride.

Half convinced my wife to go, she hate to camp but it would be fun to bring the family. Willa loves motorcycles so she'd get a kick out of it. I might not ride much again but that's ok.

See you guys in a week and half... (where did August go?)
