As ever, there are a few inconvenient road closings here and there, but it's not too bad this year, and flooding isn't an issue. 135 has one spot under construction about halfway between Nashville and Story (the bridge at the stop sign), but there's a light allowing one lane at a time so it's no big deal.
When were you last there Brian? I ran down 58 with the intent to take 135 North on Sunday when I saw that most of the road in Freetown was blocked off; there was a little space to get around the barricades but I wasn't all that willing to try and went 58 to Columbus instead.

Workaround for 250 east of Canaan is paved, but just barely one lane. Not really worth working around it. Instead, maybe take 262 from Dillsboro on 50 down to the river, then remember you wanted 250 and go back up. West of Canaan, head south on the road with bacon in the name. North Chicken Bacon Ranch Road or some thing like that. That'll get you to 62 just outside Madison. Then it's time to get creative on the way to Bedford.

US150 from Shoals to French Lick was a blast as always

    Good to know!

As ever, there are a few inconvenient road closings here and there, but it's not too bad this year, and flooding isn't an issue. 135 has one spot under construction about halfway between Nashville and Story (the bridge at the stop sign), but there's a light allowing one lane at a time so it's no big deal. There was a slide repair underway on 58 a few weeks ago, but that's done now.

145 just south of Birdseye is closed for what looks like the next few months due to a landslide repair. The workaround to the east is unpaved, and it's not clear whether the paved workaround to the west (Mentor Road to Conservation Club Road) will do the trick.

43 north of Whitehall is closed in both directions for a bridge replacement, but I think the workaround to the north on Little Flock Road is paved. But don't quote me on that. In any case, Solsberry and the Tulip Trestle are way south of that.

45 west of Bloomington is closed just outside of the city, and 54 is closed between Springville and Cincinnati (yes, there's a Cincinnati, IN) but there are paved county road workarounds, and we usually don't haunt that area anyway. 258n east of Freetown is closed, but again, there's a paved workaround if you just gotta get to Seymour.

For those coming from Ohio, 250/62 is closed just east of Canaan. There are a couple of options for workarounds, and they might even be paved. Paved-ish...

    450, 150, 58, 135, 45 (northeast of Bloomington, anyway) are all open.

Here's the INDOT construction/closure map. It's pretty accurate, actually.
Reports regarding traffic incidents, winter road conditions, traffic cameras, active and planned construction, etc.

No, this is the Buffalo (2005 Boulevard C90).

I also ordered a Rick's R/R, but not confident I will get it in time.

If I have to I will be riding the GSXR

Wouldn't be a proper rally if it didn't happen in the middle of the first heat wave of the season, LOL

Unfortunately my daycare is closing that week unexpectedly and we are running into child care gaps. I will need to stay here in Vermont that weekend now.
In a few years she will be big enough to bring with me. I'll get back out there, super challenging with the little one.
    Thanks,

I'll be interested to see if you can get back out of it. There are definitely some events where it would be nice to have a seat at the end of the day.
