Just talked to Jay yesterday, and once again in spite of my pleas he refuses to raise the room rates for this event. So for another year, time stands still for us at the Rosemount...

Maybe Jay is just looking out for us poor, unfortunate, retired folks on a fixed income!

Looking forward to it again this year!

Mmkayyyy... just went through the email responses, revived my dormant Tetris skills, and we have everyone bunked except for one on the waiting list.

As I told him, these are 40+ year old motorcycles and the riders ain't exactly spring fresh either, so I'm pretty confident he'll end up with a bunk.

If I missed replying via email to anyone, let me know.

Now let me reiterate something: if your plans change, or become wobbly, PLEASE let me know right away so that we can re-shuffle and find a bunk for everyone who needs one.

No worries. I’ll sleep in Norm’s truck or bring an air mattress and sleeping bag and sleep in the trailer if I have to. Already have the vacation time, so I’m coming. Would be nice to have a room and a shower though.

Just sent you the email with all the details -- at the moment you're third in line on the waitlist, but we always seem to have more dropouts than that as rally time approaches and so I think we'll have no problem finding you a bunk, especially if you're a little flexible.

2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

Chances of me appearing are looking pretty strong. Since it's relatively close by I won't be spending any nights there but am looking forward to meeting folks in the 3D world.

I identify as a man but according to the label on a box of Stauffers Baked Lasagne I'm actually a family of four

Awesome! Sounds like we may have a decent contingent of XS1100s (two) at the rally!

Cool! I haven't even seen an XS1100 in almost 20 years.

Bummer. You just won't enjoy the rally as much if you're not there. You know better than that.
