    2022 New England Rally

    Hi everyone,
Looking for some input this year.
I was thinking of returning to Lily Bay campground this year (19th Moosehead Anniversary), but I can't make reservations until Feb 7th and I may not get the Mud Brook group camping site but I should know by the seventh.

At Coolidge, the Pavillion and group camping site is not available for the weekend after Labor Day
Options for the Paviliion at Coolidge are Labor Day weekend (Sep 1,2,3 and 4; Thursday night thru Sunday night), or two weekends after Labor Day (Sep 15, 16, 17 and 18). Or, we could just get Lean-to's on the "normal" weekend following Labor Day. I have tentative reservations for the 15-18 now, have to pay by Feb 7 or lose the reservation.

So voting first on Lily Bay or Coolidge?

If Lily Bay isn't available the weekend after Labor Day (like Coolidge isn't), should we camp the weekend OF Labor Day (Sep 1-4), or the 2 weeks AFTER Labor Day (Sep 15-18), or keep the usual weekend (Sep 8-12) and get lean-to's??

2021 we camped two weeks after Labor Day at Coolidge in Lean-to's and the weather was awesome, but every year is different...

    Chime in with preferences!!
Jethro - Moosehead, second or third weekend
Skip - Moosehead, first weekend/second weekend
    Rich - Moosehead, no preference
    Lyle - Moosehead/either, either weekend
Pano - either location, first or third weekend (second weekend - TBD)
    Andy B - Moosehead, usual weekend (8-12)
Justin - Moosehead, second or third weekend
Keith - either location, usual weekend(8-12)
Edbot - Moosehead/either location, either weekend
    Steve
    Doug
    Todd
    ??

Sure seems like Moosehead is the overwhelming preference!!
And with the potential exception for Joel (Pano), the usual weekend after Labor Day seems to work for everyone.
I'll call Lily Bay and see what we can get!
Not taking reservations until Feb 7 (9am)...

Ya know, I could handle something different. I like Vermont a lot but I could stop there on the way home from Maine.

Dudes I have reserved the mountain top Coolidge site for the first ever Jedz Stock on the weekend of August 18-22. Rates are on par as usual Coolidge $12 a night or $20 for 2 (or whatever). I know several of my Triumph buddies are in and same with several of my subscribers who are planning to travel as far as Florida to join, I also plan on having a dealer presence with my local Triumph shop (CYCLEWISE) I plan on talking to them in detail when I bring the Bikes in for inspection for February.

Anyway there is that, all are invited to come here. It just wouldn't be in September.

Also it's going to be my first every family trip so I won't be riding as much as I will be taking turns with Mrs. Jedz to watch the new mini Jedz.

          Best,

I secretly want to go to moose head in September... That's my vote.

An interesting twist mr. Jedz. My goal in life is more bike trips this year.

Where/what is "Coolidge"? I found Lily Bay, but there's a lot of stuff named for old Cal...

I’d like to go back to Maine, even if we can’t get mud brook, maybe get several adjoining sites in lily bay? Or possibly a block of rooms at Indian hill motel(just a suggestion)

Yup, I think Mud Brook would be awesome if we could get it but it's a miracle to get the exact days you want. I vote for Mud Brook if possible for the normal weekend (after Labor Day) or even the 2nd weened after Labor Day. I like Andy's suggestions too, doesn't have to be Mud Brook, actually at the State Park has it's advantages. And if it's at Coolidge than I should be able to make any time work as long as it's not Labor Day weekend.

Since I plan on crashing Jedz August Coolidge deal, I think Maine would be the best for September. The riding up there sucks in comparison, but if we get enough riding in before that it's no big deal. If we can't get mudbrook I'm fine with Lily Bay State Park it's absolutely gorgeous and the facilities are great! From a selfish point of view Labor day works best for me because I have the whole weekend off. Depending upon what week is available I may have to work and use vacation time.

I currently have work scheduled the week of 10/11 Sep, but a projected although not figured out yet employment change would open the weekend up. The other weekends are good. It would be good to see you guys again.

Been away so long I had to reregister. Whatever you decide, I hope to make it this year. Date or location doesn't matter to me but it would be great to do Lilly Bay again...where it all began.
