1981 gs650e
Hi all, I just picked up this 1981 GS650e 6 speed chain drive. The bike is in rough shape but it's all there. How rare is this model and is it worth restoring to original condition? Any info appreciatedYou do not have permission to view this gallery.

My opinion, a very nice, solid, eye catching old bike. Not any more rare than other 40 yr. old bikes, sure not an expensive collector bike, just a good old bike & yes back in good looking & running condition, a lot of fun riding & getting attention from bike folks.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. That's one of my favorite GS's. Roller bearing crank, and 2nd gen 2 valve cylinder head for good power.Ed

Hey flipmedia,
I have an 82Ez. Only 3 years of the GS650E, 81 GS650Ex, 82 GS650Ez,and 83 GS650Ed, these models have a chain drive and the engines a re basically the GS550 crank with larger sleeves and pistons retaining the roller bearing crank, where all the other GS650's, have a shaft drive and the engines are different as well. Suzuki gave the shaft drive engines shell bearings and a different head
