Registering for a forum account and some problems when creating one

I continue to get questions about forum accounts so I am going to try and answer the most common ones.

Q: How do I register for a forum account? I don't see anything to create an account.
A: Look at the top right of the main forum screen and you should see something that says Login or Sign Up. Click on Sign Up.

Q: I registered for a forum account and I never got anything in my email account.
    A:
An email is sent out from our server that you must click on in order to create the account. As is the case in all email requests, make sure you typed in your email address correctly when registering. Also, check your Spam folder for our email.

There are also some domains that will not accept email from our server because they consider email from us to be Spam. I have worked with the major email companies to fix this but some just refuse to whitelist us, while others are non-USA servers. Some companies that refuse to accept our email are gmx.com, mail.com and inf.sympatico.ca. If our registration email doesn't seem to be getting to you then use the CONTACT US link below and I'll see if there is anything popping up on my end.

    On another note....

Be sure to keep the email address associated with your forum account up-to-date, particularly if you subscribe to threads. Your email address is used to receive these messages as well as other system messages and I get a bounce-back email is your mailbox is deleted, closed or full. If you subscribe to threads and I get a bounce-back message I will delete all your subscriptions. So keep your email account up-to-date and make sure it isn't full. Thanks!
