Aussie GS StreetFghtr/Cafe Build
Does anyone have any info on a bike build I saw on here a couple of years back. I am not sure what GS it was a 750 OR 1000, but the build was done by an Aussie, very detailed in pics. What stood out was he cut the rear of the frame to use the original tail piece but as a single seat only. Any ideas on Usernames would be a start. ThanksTags: None

Hmmmmm I don't recall an Aussie one, but I'm pretty sure there was a New Zealand one. Although I don't think the one I'm remembering was blue... way too long ago for my crap memory though...
Having said that I'm sure over the years I've seen two or three using a similar idea and the end result is extremely neat and well done.1982 GS450E - The Wee Beastie

When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Love that bike
Actually, Whenever I see "Street-fighter" on an ad, I feel 98% certain the bike was wrecked, probably several times.
All the plastics were messed up as well as various other parts, mounts, brackets etc.
So the broken stuff has been cut-away and it is now a CoooOOooOOoOOL B@D@$$ "Street-Fighter"...
Ready for whichever sucker falls for "street-fighter" and smashes it up (inevitably) a bunch more!
That's the impression I get anyway. That one never had any plastic so now I'm confused...My current bike had no plastic besides rear panels, it can take a beating and has GSX motor , I do like "Street-fighter" But luckily it was on market before the term was used so much
PHEW!!! ...just tired of "labels" In general for some reason, IDK [/rnt]
LOL, My buddy was trying to sell me his CBR600 and I told him I sort was thinking of an "Enduro" for around town (back then) and he said ,"It's great as "dual-sport", I can hop right over curbs, through grass whatever. Done it a bunch, it's waaaay better/ faster than stupid "dual-sport" "Just as good off-road" Hmmmm..(I think maybe so).
