Former Member had to Re-register. Are my old posts all gone?

So, former member here, same user name as before. Was on the site a bunch some years back when I was restoring two GS Suzuki models, an '83 GS650GL and an '84 GS1100GK. Both have been sold since. Wish I had the GS1100GK back!

I just had to re-register since I had not been active on the forum for quite a while.

My question is: are all of my old posts gone from back when I was active before, or can I still find them? I re-registered with the same user name, so I was hoping they might still be available. Would like to re-read some of those and other threads that I posted in.

PS) I know it's not a GS, but I found a nice little '83 GN125 that I might buy this weekend as my next restoration project. Missing about $400 worth of parts, but is in nice shape and running just fine. Any thoughts on that little bike?

Your old posts should still be available, in the tech forums anyway where an archives is kept. Try searching on your old user name...which doesn't appear to be same as your current name.

Actually, I did use the same user name. I was able to find some of my old posts, but not by searching for posts made by my user name. So, if I can remember the threads my discussions were in, I'll be able to find some of them at least.

      Thanks!

I was in the same position. I was able to find my old posts but they're now marked as being written by "anonymous." But if somebody else quoted one, it still had my original forum name attached to it.

          WM,

          Welcome back.

My undrstanding is that your prior posts will not dissapear, at least not because your login expired.
Your prior post will still be there, but may not have you old login name, might indicate "guest" or something like that, but the posting will still be there. That is in some sections of the forum, in other sections of the forum all post all posts are deleted after some time (or so many pages, not sure).
