    82 gs1100es

Looking for any service manual info for my 82 gs1100es. Replacing piston rings and can't find a manual for my year of bike with a TSCC engine.

I believe the 1100ES was, in the U.S. at least, a one year (1983) model.

My service manual generally covers the 1980 through 1983 models inclusive, with supplemental chapters for specific models. As I recall, the '83 1100ES was identical to the '82 and '83 E models, with the addition of a small fairing which lowered the quarter mile time. I think they were all originally blue and white.

This is the last part of the table of contents from my Suzuki shop manual:

(When the "manage attachments" option reappears on my screen, I'll show you that pic. Try posting this in a different forum section.)
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

The ES(D) was barely a 1 year model, and yes it was 1983 only ("D" Models).
82 E(Z) and 83 E(D) are very similar, but slight differences in cam profiles. 83 E and 83 ES are almost identical
US and Canada received the white and blue color scheme, but Europe could get a black and red version - very cool!
