Well... Here we are, 10 (ten) years later, after the truck crash, and I am still kicking... and, kicking back. Thank all of you for caring about me, and for always being so kind and loving. (Exception: Politics... lol)!!
I have been active in politics in Yavapai Co. AZ, as well as our little hamlet in the Verde Valley (near Sedona) since I moved here. My investigative background has been a plus.
I have been working on my autobiography, the early years, up to about age 30...

With the craziness of the world today, I am mostly staying home and heating my home with wood. I get around pretty darn good now, however, not for long periods of time, because of pain.
I also found out my back has severe scoliosis, severe arthritis, severe degenerative disc disease and 4 severely herniated bulging discs... (& nany other things...)
I'm still happy and smiling... and cracking jokes whenever possible! I've been in and out of the forum during the last 10 years, and have missed the friendships I have made.
I will never forget how you people stood behind me when I was attacked as a Bartender at the local Re-Neck bar... 16 (?) years ago...
We were a tight family then. I hope you are still a tight family...!
Blessing to All thru this global mess we are enduring... Think positive and help each other...
Because of all I've been through, I feel I know God personally. May His Will Be Done.......................

That is a good thought, Patti.
The last year especially has seen people I know age quickly, perhaps faster than they thought possible for themselves. Sedentary lifestyles are not good for long-term health, regardless of age.

Oh....!!! How Granny WANTS TO !!!
Honestly though, there are a lot more vehicles on the road now... pretty scary on my last ride...
Some car with two jerks weaving in and out of traffic, just to get a look at me... I'm so over it after all these years...
Trust me, the biker never gets out of you, you still lean into turns once in a while (not thinking your in a car... Even while watching some driving scenes on the tube... lol...
BTW: Thanks for your spirit-raising post...! If I get rich, I'd still like to make it into a 3-wheeler...

So sad about urban sprawl. I have a good friend that just moved out of Surprise a few miles further west.

Thank All of you so very much for caring about Gramma.
It's March 2020, and I am still going as strong as I can...
We just beat a big apartment complex that wanted to invade our rural lifestyles...
Next up 2-story condos around a "Lake" that is nothing but a dug out old cattle pond... Just a few blocks sway!
I will loose my peaceful retirement community... (that is ever-changing)...
Looks like I might have to find a place with less density. We have been discovered...

Where should Granny Go? (No wisecracks...lol)
I will be 70 this year... (Can't believe what I've survived !!!) ...I Love ALL of YOU !

Phred! Wow! You sure have been going through the wringer! Sorry!
Your wife needs your love the most, at this time... You are better than meds....

Myself? I'm improving! I discovered this natural pain killer Kratom. It has really been helping me!
And, I've been involved politically out here, at a basic level...
Body still hurts... Blah, blah, blah... But, I will never give up!!!

My Dad said that we all die of the same thing..."Lack of Breath"....

A happy belated birthday Patti! So sorry to read about your accident. Have been off site for the summer. My dad passed away, then my mother in law, and that sent my wife into a tailspin. She is bipolar and spent the last few months in hospital going through a change of meds. Take care

Maybe one more pic of you aboard the souped-up 1100E before you sell it?

    Happy Birthday!
