Drive? Ride instead! Nice to hear you are doing alright. Billy O is visiting AZ first week of Nov. He'll be in the valley. Get a ride down and visit.

Thank you, EVERY ONE, You sure do bring my spirits up.

Good news, friends ! I bought a new battery for my 75 El Camino.
It was in very good shape, motor and tran, And I really always wanted one anyway. I bought it about 3 yrs ago....
Well, we gave it a try, and it started right up and ran like a top today.

Have to get te Plates and ins., to get it on the road..
I still need an outer starter-motor gear, the larger one on the outside.
It's GS1100,1981. Ray is short on them.

    Luv all of you!
    Gramma Sunshine

ps. Also I must get the doctors permission to drive.

I just saw this. I'm praying that you'll make a full recovery. I was just through your area on May 29th on my way to San Ysidro, Ca to start a 4 corners run and then again on my way home after I stopped to see some friends in Mesa. I even called to see if you wanted to do lunch when I was getting close to Camp Verde.

Get better, and get back in action. I'd much rather hear about you taking on a major company that hear you about you being in the hospital.

You and me both Shirl! I've been offsite since May, and this is heartbreaking and relieving at the same time.

Patti, stay strong, pull through it all. You've been through much worse and your mettle has always made the rest of us stronger with you.

I know this may sound odd considering you have no idea who I am, but I am so glad you came out okay and are making a speedy recovery!

A few years back I broke my neck in a truck accident as well. Physical therapy is painful, and I have pain in my neck every day, but it is so much better than being dead I'll tell you that. As of now (aside from the ache), I can do everything anyone else can, and I know it'll be the same for you .

I hope rehab goes great for ya, I'll keep you in my prayers.

Hope it isn't morbid of me but Curious George was my favorite book as a kid I am told. What happened to put you vehicleless and on the mend?? I heard something about a dually truck that was demolished?? It wasn't a Dodge was it?? You know that the adage if can't Dodge it Ram it is JUST an adage right????

    Hi,
I went to the doctor who repaired my spinal cord and fixed my broken neck, yesterday. He said my x-rays looked very good and I do not have to wear that awful collar any more.
He wanted to shake my hand, and I said, "You saved my life. There's no way your leaving this room before I get a hug." So we hugged and I thanked him for going to school.
He smiled and said, " I paid attention too!" How do you thank a complete stranger who saved your life?
So, I'm celebrating... Bob and I ate steak tonight. It felt really good and tasted even better !

I still have to go to physical therapy for neck exercises...( I still need to go for my hand and foot, too...)
Thanks for all the love, prayers and invisible hugs you've all sent. I feel them, honest.
    Gramma Loves You !!!

...AND MY FAST, EXCELLENT, REHABILITATION RECOVERY, is just as miraculous as the fact they saved my life at all, in that near-fatal crash...
People I meet everyday are astounded that I'm getting around so good after, and so soon. It happened June 3rd, that's not that log ago.

I think that in a month or two, the right ankle that I destroyed will be strong enought to hold up my bike...
    Gotta contact Ray.

I truly love my GSR Family....Hope I can make it to a reunion again soon, but, I'm afraid for most of us $$$ is going to be in short supply for a while..

    Thanks for sharing!
