    My packages arrived !

Now this one was new to me, maybe it'll make you guys grin ...

I had a super deal on some GS1000 parts - oil cooler, brackets, Goodridge hoses, oil takeoff, special front sprocket cover, Yoshi oil catch can, breather hoses and filter, all in brand new state.
Seller is a buddy and all his stuff is like new.
Stuff never arrived, mail service claimed they had given it to me personally.
Even went to the trouble of reporting the 2 packages missing to the police.
Life goes on, money gone and no parts.
    Sh*t happens, right ?

Yesterday one of my neighbours came to my door, more than 6 months later, with both packages.
He explained he accepted the packages for me and intended to deliver them.
But he then unexpectedly had to "go on holiday for 6 months".

Which is slang for "go to jail"

So yesterday was the first opportunity he had to bring me the packages
I was laughing all evening long ...

Well, at least he's a honest man...
To bad he didn't use his "one call" to tell you he had your parts! Haha

Honest men rarely have this kind of 6 mo. holidays.... Just usually isn't that way. Though late, glad all is OK.

        Nice wee surprise.
At the very least, he could have written you a postcard from 'holiday' in Sunny Gevangenis.

Around here it's called 'going upstate.' Or just 'in.'
