Here's a video covering a road trip through Africa by two people riding the same model of 200cc road bike. Watch it for yourself, I'll let you decide! Be sure to check out the authors comments below the video for a fair assessment and other factors to consider.

Only I've been around, a buddy bought a used Chinese 4 wheeler with bad starter clutch, I don't remember brand name. Took a little searching on computer, but we found parts at reasonable price, fixed it, it did fine till he sold it a couple of yrs later, no clue after that. He did not hot rod it, just used it around the farm... Honestly I was pleasantly surprised.1983 GS1100E, 1983 CB1100F, 1991 GSX1100G, 1996 Kaw. Heck it's hard to be worse than the British stuff from the late 60s and early 70s. Oops, that's the stuff I like! My buddy has a Lifan 125 engine in a modified CT70. Runs pretty well and cost under $500. Not being worked up about originality, he just wanted something fun to take on camping trips. I suppose the market will decide, or already has.Tom
