I used to live a few miles south of Lake Ontario. He got a lot of play on local radio. If You Could Read My Mind and Edmund Fitzgerald.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red
2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

I will think of Mr. Lightfoot every time I drink one of these. If you like dark beer, this is quite good.

Not just dumping a girl, but the disappointment of betrayal by someone you tried so hard to love, portraying the depth of which we guys feel. This depth of feeling helped me understand women, and I did not put them on a pedestal anymore (my bad), and found a partner for life. I am older and remember him from when I was just a kid, his passing, well, he was great, and the world is less for his passing, but greater because of his life. IMHO. Canada's son, one of the world's best. He has left the world with beautiful music that will be around as long as man is.
