    Canadian BBQ?

"Worst NY City air quality since the 1960s. Currently the worst air on the planet."

The smell doesn't bother me as much as not being invited. Why not send down some beef and pork, and we'll forget the slight?
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

We already sent it....and Amazon "reproduced" it.

Now, you can love it, too.

Its my region in Quebec that is burning up (Abitibi). 400 000Hectares are already gone. Im pretty sure my hunting camp burned up this morning, maybe my lodge later this week. I installed my new K&N air filters on my GS650 just 2 weeks ago but I will probably clean them already next week, since there is so much ash in the air. Truly a wonderful time to be alive!

To be fair, the slogan was real and it was officialy that of the Saskatchewan Pork Association, who put it on many billboards.

The pictures from NYC are incredible. Here in Boston I could smell the smoke last week and we had a bit of a haze on Monday, nothing like Manhattan!

Manhattan was already filthy. I guess small smoke particulates aglomerate on hydrocarbons and the wistful sighs of NYSE jobbers.

Sorry about that Rob. Usually it's us in the west that get hammered but it's the east so far this year. { and Alberta } We've got lots of fires in BC too but so far the wind has been in Vancouver's favour. I'm enjoying it while it lasts { because I know it won't last } ......

If the PBS docu "Yellowstone is burning" is available in the data horde give it a look.

As for the OP grow the *@%^$*@%^$*@%^$*@%^$ up and stop making light of a massive natural disaster that is impacting millions of people and causing long term harm to the natural world.
Many a fine brave person is risking their life and health on front lines fighting this. You have exceeded your own record for ignorance.

Northern lower Michigan has been under a haze from Canadian fires for over a week now. Last Sunday I watched a helicopter dipping water out of a lake I'm camped on, they where dousing a 4,000 acre fire that started about three miles downwind from here. I was nowhere near there and I can prove it!

I just took a short walk outside. Wow! Indescribable.

A neighbor is barbecuing. Seems redundant. And I'm suddenly craving pastrami...

Just heard that the FAA has grounded all flights out of New York. Stay safe, Quebec.

I remember when I was young and living in Prince George. They had roadblocks on the highway looking for young people . We didn't have conscription for the army but they could nail you for a forest fire and they did . I doubt if it's like that now but I'll tell you that is heavy work . The conscripts who know fuddle duddle all about fire fighting get to help build the fire lines ......Unless you had driving a bulldozer on your resume that meant picks and shovels ......

The new normal. I'm not fond of natural disasters. I know you guys in the west have been dealing with this for years but this is a first for me. It's eerie. I hope it rains up there soon.
