I have a very expensive in room air cleaning unit. I have a massive air conditioner. It got so bad, the in room conditioner (I have to have this because of my wife's and son's asthma) indicator went "RED", it went from "GREEN" slowly changing colors, till it went "ORANGE" then finally "RED". I have lived in this house for 23 years. I have never seen the air so dirty that everything looked orange. the Sunset was barely visible. I have asthma myself, but it has to be pretty bad with pollen, etc. to affect me. When the smoke was at it's worth, I had trouble even driving. The cars filter could not keep up even just recycling the cabin air. You could still smell the smoke. It just started raining here about 5 minutes ago. The skies are very clean now, but the rain won't hurt.

I was going to go back to hometown in Central Illinois for a long forth of July weekend,
after looking at the local online news, seems air quality is not so great.
Northern Arkansas here I come...

Yesterday for us was bad....officially the worst air quality in the world.
The moment my three-year old opened the door in the morning he asked "What's that smell?"
When we looked down the street the last part , about 200 yards away, was almost fully obscured by smoke. .Bertrand Russell: 'Men are born ignorant, not stupid. They are made stupid by education.'

Well, the reprieve is over, outside was like being in the world's biggest smoke shop. It was bad. I was working on my bike all day, I live on the side of a hill, and there's always a light breeze coming up the hill from the lake a the bottom. I think my immediate home was a clean area. It wasn't till I drove to the Target to pick up an order, it's on a very high spot, I looked over and realized that the whole area was smoked out, and in fact, I was in it. I can't wait till this is over.

What number did you hit? Anything over 50 is poor air quality. A few weeks ago it was 450 in New York.1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red
