    Any Top Gear/Grand Tour Fans?

Specifically Clarkson, Hammond, and May (all others are not worth watching). I used to really love the old BBC show, couches in the big studio, the Stig, celebrity setting track times in reasonably priced cars, etc. Show cancelled, the boys were picked up by Amazon Prime, and new show Grand Tour. Was hard to get used to new format at first. But the production value increased tenfold. Fewer episodes but each one feature length. I’m in the middle of season 5; episode 2/ Euro Crash, and I’m laughing my a$$ off.

Spoiler alert: Hammond crashes. But if you’ e ever watch, you probably already guessed that.

Sad, I believe I read this will be the last.

The original was a total blast. Too bad Clarkson showed his @ss so badly the show was cancelled. The new format hasn't really grabbed me. Granted, I've only watched a handful of the new shows, but the chemistry feels different somehow. Less avant garde, more glossy prefabbed.

Cipher, I didn’t know this show existed, thanks for that. Found it and will likely take a deep dive down that YT rabbit hole.

As for the Bullying Thug (Clarkson, I presume), the opinionated dwarf (Hammond, I guess), and you left out Captain Slow (May), maybe it’s the Three Stooges-like antics with verbal and emotional rather than physical abuse (in a comedic way) that hits my funny bone. I’m easily amused. The cars they “review” or drive the wheels off of are usually pretty interesting.

I did try a few episodes of Clarkson Farm. Thought I would like it. Meh. Just didn’t hold my interest.

Yeah I can imagine some of that would be "lost in translation" to someone who didn't grow up there
Not so much the language but the culture of those small towns etc. Different kind of redneck to here
