At first I thought it had been speeded up a touch, but it took the right time in the end.

      That was fantastic!
The huge number of times there was a split second burst of revs as the rear tire lost contact with the pavement with bumps or jumps. Wow, indeed!

That type of racing just scares the heck out of me.
          Literally no room for error.

What must the straightaway speed be to AVERAGE 136 mph? On 2 lane blacktop with zero run off. I'll just watch.
Believe in truth. To abandon fact is to abandon freedom.

I don't like watching. It's just too hairball. Guys DIE there...

Snip from a Ruters article from June 6th where another guy died..."Six competitors died last year and Torras Martinez was the 267th fatality in the history of the event."

On average, 2 1/2 guys every year. (Approx.)

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

I read somewhere, 203 mph was highest trap speed.
