The thylacine is rumored to still exist in the wild; n Tasmania.
Forest Gallante has searched for a live one

Since it would be limited to the island, reintroduction would be interesting.

Tasmania is about the area of Florida, so there very well could be some in the wild. Apparently none have been seen since 1930,

I doubt it would be a problem. About 65 lbs and a marsupial. Not a feline as in cat. Probably closer to a wallaby.

There's still plenty of Black Panthers around in Flint and Detroit but they're aging out and dying off fast. One lady in particular lives in what's left of a crumbling old house, she's well into her 70's and still makes sure the kids on her street goes to school with some breakfast in their tummy.

LONG list of previous bikes not listed here.

I identify as a man but according to the label on a box of Stauffers Baked Lasagne I'm actually a family of four

Being an Ozzie,, I surmise his black panther is different than your black panther. lol

Hopefully, there still are some. Wolves are exceptionally intelligent,

It appears it may have been a feral cat spotted in your link. Here. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-10-...elin/101510332

I had forgotten about the afternoon I was almost back home from a bike ride and and about a mile from my house when I saw a large animal standing in middle of the road.
It was moving, so I stopped the bike and waited for it to go.on. Maybe50 yards away and it was in no hurry. I was surprised to see it was a cougar. (mountain lion))

We also have a medium sized cat, bigger than feral domestic.
