As I have been pondering building a house once I am settled in in the new profession, and since I have access to a good friend who builds steel buildings, I have begun plans for a sort of Garage Mahal, with the living area wrapping around the garage itself and allowing access to the garage area from multiple points. Not exactly bikes and cars in the house, but windows from several points looking in at the central auto/moto space and doors leading into that area from several areas."Thought he, it is a wicked world in all meridians; I'll die a pagan."

I refurbed my burgundy and orange 78C in the living room when i first got it in Michigan. Roped it up and lifted onto the deck with the tractor bucket and stuffed through the door. Took it out with the tractor bucket too.

NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.
