Our low decks make your getaway easier

That may not be U-Haul's original slogan, but the driver of this truck seemed to think it was......
    One wonders why...

I do not know if it applies only locally or is widespread, but seeing trucks moving at high speeds on the shoulders, despite multiple lanes of traffic being stopped beside them, is quite commonly seen here.. The difference is that here it is tow truck drivers who seem to be insane, as they race to crash scenes. and police do nothing about it.

Not everyone who tries to outrun cops is lucky. and gets away with it.

This news report is from today: with four kids in a Dodge Charger trying to do it.....two of them died.

Ontario's Special Investigations Unit is investigating after an overnight crash in downtown Windsor that killed two people. It happened around 1:20 a.m. Sunday morning, the SIU said.Preliminary information suggests Windsor police officers saw a Dodge Charger go through a red light at Park Street and Ouellette Avenue, the SIU said in a media release. Officers tried to stop the Charger but it headed northbound on Ouellette, then eastbound on Riverside Drive East. At Riverside and Glengarry Avenue,

That's pretty nasty right there, you gotta be hauling butt pretty hard to get a car to break in half like that.

Only time I've seen something like that is a shoddy cut-n-shut repair job.

A reality not willingly acknowledged by most drivers is that many, maybe most, newer cars are capable of doing things that most drivers are far from capable of safely handling. They run out of skill before the car runs out of ability.

This seems to be one of those cases.

In this case his lack of ability to being held accountable got the best of him.

Here's another high speed truck chase that didn't end well, fast forward to about 4:55 to catch the action from two separate cameras.
