    A Tesla which had crashed into an apartment building north of NY City (White Plains, Westchester County) today erupted into a 'fireball', killing the two woman occupants of the car. An occupant of the building, as well as a jogger were injured.

    A witness said she heard four 'explosions', and that the police said "it was the battery."

    Video is available, if someone would like to provide a link, but you all know what fire looks like.

                    8 hurt in Bronx apartment fire. Firefighters found "numerous" e-bike batteries on fire.

                      One dead, two injured in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn fire last night caused by "lithium ion battery," according to the NYFD. Some of the victims were attempting to extinguish the fire themselves, according to officials, who said you should never do that.

                        This month we are introducing a ban on e-scooters on public transport. For some reason e-bikes and mobility scooters are exempted?
