    Rest In Peace, Rosalynn Carter

An amazing woman who never stopped fighting for the rights of the disenfranchised and neglected. She will be missed.

The phrase "a life well lived" is probably thrown around a lot more than it should be. But there is no doubt it applies to this lady. Both she and her husband lived to serve others. They were hammering and sawing at Habitat for Humanity projects into their 90's. Kind, decent, real people.
Believe in truth. To abandon fact is to abandon freedom.

    Nature bats last.

Wife and I were talking about the carter's just the other day, figured Jimmy would go first?

Some of my older co workers say he was America's last "real " president, and Rosalyn was right there as first Lady as well.

Such an incredible life span for two people to share. I told my mother this over lunch today they were married when she was about one year old.
She said it made her feel young.

The two things Carter did that most impressed me were the habitat for humanity gig and the captaincy of a nuclear sub.
