    Christmas 2023

To one and all, a Joyous and Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas one and all, wet and gray but warm here in Kentucky this year.

2001 KLR650 too pretty to get dirty

Life is a balancing act, enjoy every day, "later" will come sooner than you think. Denying yourself joy now betting you will have health and money to enjoy life later is a bad bet.

I'm just getting home from visiting my brother's in Columbus Ohio.
Beautiful weather in northeast Ohio 60° and sunny. I could have rode my motorcycle! (that's what everyone was telling me anyway) It's tough being a motorcyclists.
It was fun telling everyone about my summer adventures.
To anyone that wanted to listen! Haha

NOT a white Christmas up here in the unfrozen tundra.......

I suggest to those who make a living from ski hills, snow plowing, ice fishing, skate rinks, sno-shoeing, etc, start to diversify!

Seeing all the weather comments is interesting, but for a more unusual reason than most.,.

We have had rain for several days, but temperatures of 20f -6C earlier in the month as well as in November.

What makes it intriguing is a hanging flower basket my wife put up in June. I do not know the name of them but it has small mauve flowers, about 1 inch in size.

We have an overhang on the front porch with no walls, so, while no snow or rain falls directly onto it, the basket is exposed to wind and ambient temperatures all around....and as we approach the New Year, it still has flowers!
