Watched from my front yard here in Indy -- beautiful weather, and just perfect.

I've never seen totality before, just a partial, and seeing the corona was truly, epically special and mind-blowing.

And when that first spark re-appeared at the edge, it was a real goosebumps moment. The light and warmth that suddenly returned from just that tiny, impossibly bright spark really brought home the power of our home star.

During totality there was a lot of excited screaming in Spanish from a couple houses over, and some fireworks elsewhere in the neighborhood.

      Totally Totallity Awesome!
I was in the middle of nowhere all by myself. About 10 miles southeast from Tiffin Ohio.
It was weird waiting for it to come. Almost like waiting for a nuclear missile to arrive.
The traffic wasn't a issue at all. Even going through Akron, nothing crazy.
Next Eclipse... 2044 I'll try to make it, but no guarantees.

Not much excitement this time, only appx. 95% and a yellowing tint to everything, nothing like the totality back in 2017. Back then, being out in a quiet rural area, the birds got excited and got to chirping a lot. No neighbors nor traffic noise, just the serenity of nature... Congrats to those that got it this time... Hoping marvinsc got it both times.

Just caught the last bit of it in Valdosta, GA. Had my back tire blow out on I-75 and I went down at about 35mph. All kinds people there freaking out as I got up, disconnect the trailer, picked up the bike and moved it off the road. When the police arrived they INSISTED I go to the hospital where I checked out fine. Just caught the last bit of it as I left the hospital to go find where everything got towed to.

Eastern TN was in the 89% area, but we had serious cloud cover....
Things thinned out enough to get a couple quick photos.

Great little hillbilly eclipse party with family and friends. Totality was obscured by clouds but it got really dark. Very different from 2017. We did get a few moments of clearing when we saw the moon in front of the sun as it was moving past with our glasses on. The grand kids loved it. Excellent day.

I saw some video from Cleveland that looked like there were coronal mass ejections. Anyone see that?

Cool, figured you had a good view. I rode out to between Columbus, IN and Bloomington, watched it there. Awesome show I thought. I'd seen a few partials before, but this was the first full solar eclipse I've seen.
Traffic wasn't too bad, although there was a long slowdown between Dayton and Columbus.
Totally worth the 1200 miles in 50 hours.
