    Guess which MC brand

A few hours ago, I heard an obnoxiously loud bike approaching. As he rolled to a red light, I could see the rider was wearing an open face helmet (a 3/4 helmet?). I said to the woman I was with, "You want to see an a-hole?" (I didn't abbreviate it, I pronounced it the way this site won't let me spell it.)

"Excuse my language, but that guy's an a-hole. A real a-hole!" I continued, "He's saying, 'everybody look at me! Look at me!'" I said it quite loud. Though he may not have heard me, I know he saw me pointing at him and gesturing as I said, "Look at me! Look at me!"

He looked like he was in his late 40s at least. One more detail: though he didn't have a windshield, he DID have a lit cigar in his mouth. Long and thick, smoke was clearly coming from the end of it.

I'll give you three chances to guess which brand of motorcycle he was riding. Winner gets a cigar.

1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

    1980 Yamaha XS1100G (Current bike)
    1982 GS450txz (former bike)
LONG list of previous bikes not listed here.

I identify as a man but according to the label on a box of Stauffers Baked Lasagne I'm actually a family of four

Started wondering if you were talking about me but I never smoked cigars. I've always ridden with open face helmet except in cold weather. I do always use one of the flat 5 snap shields (that keep getting harder & harder to find). And haven't smoked while riding since I quit smoking back in the mid 80's. My bikes, back then, did have cigarette lighters on them. And haven't ridden with open exhaust since I took my Yosh. 4 into 1 off my 1100E a few yrs. back... I missed the kind of bike, guessing a 2016 XL883L

Hey! That's what I used to ride.

Wrong model. Sportsters are too cool to be ridden by jerks.

But Rob, you were that same A-hole 30-40 years ago.
Give the fellow a break, he's just expressing his personality.
He probably has a lot of money wrapped up in that costume.
