I don't care how many people like, dislike, or have scooters and never ride them.
Scooters are why they put windshield wipers on vehicles.

Wouldn't off road scooter be an oxymoron? lol

No more than some of those 600lb "adventure" bikes.

I saw one of these when I was in Portugal a couple of months back, looked like a lot of fun:

Built for the city and beyond, the ADV350 features adventurous styling, long-travel suspension, and smartphone connectivity. Ready for the great outdoors.

I just spent a few hours in Manhattan. If you leave the sidewalk in the least bit, you take your life in your hands. Those 'bike' lanes are supposed to be one way, but it's a free for all. Complete Helter Skelter. All manner of vehicles traveling at about 30 mph. When something goes 30 mph inches from where you're standing...look out!

At one point, I noticed a couple of real motorcycles in the street moving along at a nice clip, and the electric skateboards in the bike lanes were leaving them in their dust.
They only stop for red lights when cross traffic forces them to.

"Bike lanes," but I didn't see anyone peddling.

Nope. The oxymoron may be the illogical animosity some folks have for scooters while claiming to be motorcycle enthusiasts. Much like the stupid attitude many Harley riders take toward Japanese motorcycles. It's hypocritical.

LOL, mostly it's just funny. You get the sense with some guys that their manhood is threatened by the mere existence of scooters. Cracks me up.

That said, it is true that e-bikes and those standup E-scooter things are causing problems in some cities. Technology moved fast and regulations and social norms haven't kept up.

Old footage. There is some off road scooter testing at the end.... and apparently my old Raleigh was designed with women in mind.

Love the plinky noise dubbed on the track.
I suspect the off-road tester went on his arse a few times, as evinced by the cunning use of cuts.
