    The king rode a CBX

Zombie ing out on u tube and ran across a film from 1981. A blend of a renaissance joust and motorcycles called Knightriders. Since I have done both, my jousting was on foot, I gave the movie a watch not expecting much. To my surprise the movie had a plot and was somewhat entertaining. Had a good time trying to identify some of the machines.

Yes the king rode a CBX.

Love Knightriders. Might be my favorite Romero, even though I'm usually a horror kinda fella.

Just started watching 2008's Hell Ride. Utterly ridiculous, but fun moto-movie.

Theres some interesting stuff on YT about Soichiro Honda an amazing person who challenged his people to do the impossible or inconceivable,
I recall the CBX ads from the era they were made and one line stated " maybe a million high performance miles" I wonder what the mileage record is on a CBX?

                  The King of Cool...

Saw the end of the Great Escape last night. Had he survived, Steve might have ridden a CBX.
1982 GS1100E V&H "SS" exhaust, APE pods, 1150 oil cooler, 140 speedo, 99.3 rear wheel HP, black engine, '83 red

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.
